• The Egon Schiele Project

The Kallir Research Institute is engaged in a multi-year update of Jane Kallir’s catalogue raisonné Egon Schiele: The Complete Works, first published in 1990. Phase I, including comprehensive entries for the artist’s oils, prints, sketchbooks and sculptures, is currently available at egonschieleonline.org. Phase II, comprising entries on the artist’s roughly 3,000 watercolors and drawings, is expected to launch in 2025. Phase III—updating the provenances, literature and exhibition histories of the watercolors and drawings—will follow.

The Kallir Research Institute provides opinions on the authenticity of works attributed to Schiele not included in the current catalogue raisonné. Please contact us for further information.
